Tangerinephant
by Kevin Dole 2
This is the way tension builds . . .
Michael Tangerinephant has problems.
He is:
— On the outs with his cyborg-prostitute girlfriend.
— In trouble with his (formerly) criminal syndicate MOB, Inc.
— Set up to take the fall in a trillion dollar finance scam.
— Abducted by TV-obsessed aliens.
The Chill are strange. The Chill are deranged. Unpleasant things swim towards the surface in their presence. They might make Mike live out their fantasies. They might never let him go. They might make him crazy. If he isn't already.
A swirling vortex of science fiction, satire, and surrealism, Tangerinephant will suck you in and chop you up into moonrocks.
“Tangerinephant is one of the most wildly imaginative books I’ve read in years.”
—Carlton Mellick III, author of Satan Burger and Punk Land
“The writing of Kevin Dole 2 is vibrant, irreverent, and most of all important. His is the kind of jubilance found only among madmen and geniuses.”
—John Lawson, author of Last Burn in Hell and Pocket Full of Loose Razorblades
Kevin Dole 2 spent years trying to perfect an anarchist lifestyle, only to realize that his glasses might be broken during the Revolution in which case he'd be SOL. It also turns out that words are the only thing he really knows anything about, so he's sticking to them for the time being. His writing can be found in zines and smaller presses, but this is the first time one of his novels has been loosed on an unsuspecting world. |
